RES PRINCIPAL'S BLOG - ROCKETS REPORT - Sun., Oct., 1, 2017

Dear Reading Elementary "Rockets" Families & Community Members:

Our new superintendent, Mary Beth Banios, visited our school on Wed.  She enjoyed visiting the students and staff in the school, but sadly there were no parents or community members to meet her.  I explained to her that timing is everything and that by 9 AM on most days, families are at work.  We hope to schedule an evening event that is more convenient for parents and community members to visit.  We'll let you know once we have a confirmed date!

Kudos and heartfelt thanks to:
  • Pre-K parent volunteers!
  • The 6th grade parents who helped drive to Marsh Billings!
Other Items of Interest:

Picture Day - This Wed., Oct. 4 Lifetouch Photos will be here to take our school photos.  Forms were sent home last week.  Please send in your payments in the envelope or order online.  All students are photographed.  Feel free to send in "non-dressy" clothes for students to change into for recess if you prefer.

Message from Pre-K -  "Mrs. Faulkner would like to thank Donna Martin and Rich Stahl for the bookcase they made for the Pre-K classroom."

"If anyone has doll clothes, a big wheel, a tricycle or a children's adjustable basketball hoop we could have, they would be much appreciated."
